ITEM AVAILABILITY & DELIVERY
Due to unforeseen developments with regards to the COVID-19 pandemic and the established Enhanced Community Quarantine, we regret to inform our clients that delivery of pre-ordered items may go beyond the original lead time agreed upon. We would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience this delay might cause.

Note: All deliveries will resume after the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
- Items are on-hand, unless otherwise specified on individual product descriptions.
- Deliveries within Metro Manila are free of charge.
- Accessories - three to five (3-5) working days upon confirmation of order and payment
- Furniture - seven to ten (3-5) working days upon confirmation of order and payment
- Incoming items - May 20 to 30 (unless otherwise stated)
- Note: Lead time for incoming items are subject to change depending on the state of the global pandemic.
- Working Days are Mondays to Saturdays.
- Due to the ECQ, expect delays on deliveries for orders outside Metro Manila. Rest assured that all orders will be shipped out once ECQ has been lifted. For more info regarding shipments outside Metro Manila, feel free to contact us via text or call at 0917 525 2298
- Order Changes & Cancellations
- Upon confirmation of order no further changes in terms of quantity, finishes, or any other aspects are expected. Any changes made may result in additional charges which are to be borne by the client. Order changes are defined as the deletion of line items or a change in style, color, quantity or ship-to address.
- Order changes that result in a quantity reduction may be subject to an additional small order handling fee. All changes to or cancellations of orders placed must be in writing and sent to Customer Service. All order changes or cancellations made less than twelve (12) hours before the scheduled ship-date will incur a minimum change/cancel fee of 25% of net. Irrespective of when notified, changes or cancellations are not binding upon ContractWorld until ContractWorld issues a written acknowledgement of change or cancellation.
- Items are thoroughly checked by our Quality Assurance team before sending them out for delivery. ContractWorld will not be liable for any damages incurred during and after the delivery window. Third-party courier services T&C applies.
- If customer determines that there is internal damage, not visible at time of delivery, customer will retain all packaging materials and take the following Action Steps within seven (7) calendar days from the date of delivery:
- Call your ContractWorld customer service agent, provide order and product information.
- Get a copy of the inspection report from carrier.
- Provide photo and videographic documentation of the said damage.
WARRANTY & SERVICING
- This WARRANTY is applicable to the initial purchaser only and is non-transferable. ContractWorld warrants that, at the time of customer’s acceptance, the product will be
in good working order and will be free from defects in material and workmanship and does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage caused by accident, neglect,
misuse or improper installation or operation. ContractWorld will not be responsible for damage due to service, maintenance, modifications or tampering by anyone other
than a ContractWorld authorized representative.
- In the event a product is defective and ContractWorld receives written notice of the defect within the warranty period, ContractWorld, at its option, will either repair or replace the defective product. This warranty does not cover damage caused by a carrier or transportation of the product.
- All our items are covered with 3 months up to 15 years product and service warranty. Please see individual product descriptions for specific product warranty terms for each item.
- Repair services are free of charge for all items within the warranty period, except for issues caused by misuse and normal wear-and-tear.
RETURN, EXCHANGE, AND CANCELLATION POLICY
- Design Story has a strict No Return/No Exchange policy except for items proven to have factory defects. Return and exchange requests will be accommodated within 7 days upon receipt of item. However, shipping and handling fees for all returns and exchanges will be shouldered by the customer, unless otherwise specified.
- Exchange requests are subject to quality check by our QA team. ContractWorld reserves the right to refuse requests on items with issues caused by misuse normal wear-and-tear.
